X-Men: Apocalypse News

Bryan Singer confirmed

As some would say, “Shots have been fired.” Bryan Singer, director of X-Men 1, 2 and Superman Returns, has just announced that Apocalypse, long standing villain of the X-Men, is now no longer an alien (or perhaps does not have alien hardware considering he has not been an alien according to recent memory.) Now whether it is for good or ill, things are now in motion seeing as Singer may be doing a small stab at Michael Bay and his Ninja Turtle film.

I, however, am just glad that there will even be an apocalypse movie. There might even be more pressing matters to this considering Hugh Jackman is unsure on whether he will even be doing more X-Men movies. As he said in a recent interview:

I don’t know whether or not I will do this next movie. I am really proud of (The Wolverine) and I am excited to develop something with Jim Mangold from the beginning because that is a great ride. That’s exciting, to see what we come up with but I have a very high expectation of what it would need to be [for me to star in it] and if it doesn’t reach those, I won’t be doing it.”

With recent changes and uncertainties, X-Man movie’s future may be unclear. One thing is clear, Days of Futures past is definitely something to look out for. Especially with it’s recent successes with both The Wolverine and X-Men: First Class, fans can be hopeful. After all, what’s the worst thing that could happen. We get another X-Men 3?
