Science Fiction Entertainment, Inc. ( SFE) will put the science back into science fiction with Evolution Expo. Science Fiction Entertainment, Inc. is headed up by Julie Caitlin Brown, and her son, Dustin Brown. SFE is a new Certified Benefit Corporations (B Corp). As a B Corp, SFE is will be using business to find solutions for social and environmental issues. SFE has partnered with Chabot Space and Science Center to bring Evolution Expo 2014 to the Oakland City Center Marriott on June 27-29. Evolution Expo is a three day event filled with science and science fiction-related exhibits, presentations, and workshops. With celebrities and astronauts, opportunities for autographs and photographs will be available with you favorite start regardless if you are there for the science or the science fiction. Mayim Bialik, star of the hit TV show “The Big Bang Theory,” and a neuroscientist her self in real life, will be there discussing her experiences in both an acting and her scientific career, as Sunday’s keynote speaker.
