Over the past few days there has been some new updates for the CWs Flash. Check out the top 3:
First update is Casting. Tom Cavanagh will be playing Harrison Wells:
“Cavanagh has been cast in the main role of Harrison Wells, described as a rock star in the world of physics. The mind and money behind Central City’s S.T.A.R. Labs Particle Accelerator, he becomes a pariah after the lab’s explosion, but charts his path to redemption when he discovers that his failed experiment had the unintended consequence of creating the world’s fastest man.”
Second Update is we will get to see John Wesley Shipp return to the flash franchise in the pilot. Shipp played the role of The Flash & Barry Allen in the early 90s “Flash” TV series.
Shipp will guest in the pilot as a “mysterious character,” with no further details offered. If “The Flash” is picked up as a series, he’s expected to have a recurring role.
The last update we have for you is straight from Arrow executive producer Greg Berlanti. It looks like no matter if the Flash Spinoff is picked up We will be seeing Barry Allen for a while:
“Fingers crossed we don’t screw it up and he gets his own show…. If he didn’t, I don’t think we would ever want to let Grant go. He’s too valuable. That would be our hope, I think – no matter what, to keep Barry part of the universe.”
