Hello humans! A new writer here (that being me, Glitch ), and what better way to introduce my articles then with a good ole anime season prediction picks on what might be good for this spring. I usually look to see what seems interesting and what could stand out from the pack. So let’s take a gander and make some predictions on what could be some good anime shows.
Haite Kudasai, Takamine-san
Below average student Koushi stumbles upon the secret behind the success of perfect and popular student Takane. Which is that when she strips she can magically undo past events.
This fresh take in the ecchi genre is sure to be something to keep an eye on.
Kowloon Generic Romance
In the distant future, Hajime Kudou dreams of the famed walled city of Kowloon, while his coworker Reiko Kujirai dreams of the future of real estate. Soon sparks fly between them in this setting of future and past.
The combination of scifi and romance with the historic location of the walled city in Hong Kong makes this a unique show to watch for.
Apocalypse Hotel
After the collapse of civilization, the location of a Ginza hotel is still maintained by it’s robot staff long after humans have disappeared from the area.
A very interesting, fun, and vibrant take on a post-apocalyptic setting.
Mono
Four girls combine the failing cinema club and photography club to form the CinePhoto club. They test out all sorts of cameras while their friend uses these antics for inspiration for the manga she is drawing.
All of these different things going on all at once in this anime is gonna be interesting to watch how unfold.
Uchuujin MuuMuu
A cat-like alien named Mumu arrives on Earth to learn how appliances work (in order to help recover technology his species has lost), and makes life a chaotic storm for the human he finds himself living with.
A fun take on the trope of an alien landing and getting used to the ways of Earth (this time with a cat and appliances).
Nazotoki wa Dinner no Ato de
Rich heiress Reiko wants to solve murder mysteries and notices her butler Kageyama has a knack for solving them. This in turn leads to him solving mysteries she presents to him over the course of a dinner.
A intriguing twist on the crime drama section of anime.
